About Us

Welcome to the web site Arnold Road Evangelical Church. We are a local church in the Bestwood Park area of Nottingham, full of ordinary people with ordinary lives.

What we do

Our Sunday Services consist of singing, Bible-reading and prayer. The central part of the service is where the Bible is taught and expounded - and then applied to everyday life.

We have a number of activities for children and young people too. During the Sunday morning service, we have a Sunday School and creche. There are activities for children and young people throughout the week too.

Leadership

We have a full time Pastor, Rev. Nathan Pomeroy; and two Elders, Huw Mitchell and Dr. David Myers. We also have five Deacons: Andrew Clinkscale, Albert Hall, Adrian Johnson, Eddie Neat and Tony Williams.

Accountability

Our church is part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches in the UK, and conform to their basis of faith. This means we identify with evangelical churches across the UK and the rest of the world.
