Nathan Pomeroy - Pastor of Arnold Road Evangelical Church
"I became the Pastor of Arnold Road Evangelical Church in 1999. I am thankful to God for bringing me here and for the love and encouragement of the Church. Prior to this I was an assistant to the pastor at Bethesda Baptist Church, Felixstowe. I’ve lived in several places; Cardiff, near Bath, London (Forest Gate and Finchley), and as a child grew up in Pakistan where my parents were missionaries.
I met Sharon at the Church and we were married in 2000. Sharon grew up in the local area and attended the Church as a child. She is very involved in many of the Church activities as well as working part time at a local Primary School."
Carl Peet - Assistant Pastor
I came to AREC in September 2017 to take on the role of Assistant Pastor.
Prior to this I was serving as a Locum in the Highlands of Scotland whilst studying for my BA Hons in Theological Studies at Highland Theological College.
Before training for ministry, I was engaged in criminal justice/mental health and addictions support.
My wife, Caroline and I are blessed to be able to serve the Lord together in Nottingham. We love seeing the gospel go out into communities and seeing people respond to Jesus in repentance and belief
Huw and wife Jennifer have been Christians and members of Arnold Road for many years. They have three grown up children and are Grandparents too. Huw is an Elder and was appointed to the role of Evangelist in 2013.
