Special Events

Throughout the year special events are held at the Church:

• Evangelistic Meals and Evenings

          We have held themed meals, Jamaican, Indian &
          Italian, or just a bag of chips with a quiz.
          There is planning underway for evenings involving
          the football European cup as well as more possible
          quiz's.

• Church Weekend away at Harby

          The Church also enjoys a weekend away in the
          countryside, usually over 3 days, to enjoy each others
          company away from the normal responsibilities and
          of course to focus on encouraging each other.
          A guest speaker is normally invited and much worship
          takes place.
          The centre also has a dedicated sports facilities for
          those with lots of energy.

• One off Specials

          Meeting up with other like minded churches in
          Nottingham as well as taking part or hosting East
          Midlands youth events is encouraged.
          The Church also has a weekend to focus on various
          missionary works that is supported.
          In January the Christian Institute meeting was held,

• Bible Holiday Club for 4 to 11 year olds
• Bible Exhbition

• ​Carols by Candlelight

          A big favourite in December is the Carol Service
          where the normal lights go off and the candles are lit.
          This is normally held the Sunday before the 25th and
          is well attended by members and families from the
          surrounding estates.
