There are a growing number of opportunities for the women of AREC to meet, fellowship and encourage each other. 
Our hope is to equip each woman in the fellowship to know Christ fully through the Word of God and apply the gospel to our daily lives. And also to strengthen our knowledge and reliance on God so we are able to be faithful in exceptional circumstances whether they’re moments of joy or seasons of trial.
It is our desire to provide opportunities for Bible study and prayer, to encourage one-to-one partnership or small groups as well as large group meetings in our bi-monthly meeting.  Please find below details of all the ministries. 

Ladies Meeting 

The Ladies' meeting takes place on the second Tuesday of every other month and is an opportunity to meet informally with other women to build up good relationships and to understand what God wants for our lives.

The Gospel is clearly shared through all the planned events so that we can be strengthened in our faith.
Topics are relevant and always linked to Bible truths.

Women's Weekly Bible Study

Fridays 10:00 AM

Everyone is welcome to the weekly Bible study and prayer time. 
It gives us the opportunity to delve deeper into the word of God and to pray for each other and the church.

Book Group

This is a new venture. The book group will be hosted hopefully in various homes every couple of months but for now, it will be online. It is a great way of finding out about good Christian books and meeting up encourages us to finish them too.  

Bible Reading Scheme

The importance of regularly reading the Bible is essential for Christian growth, but sometimes we find it difficult to stick to a system. Some of us enjoy the discipline of being accountable so this may help:

Prayer Partnerships

A number of people are already meeting for prayer in this way and it would be great to see this happening more across the church. If you feel you’d benefit from meeting with another Christian woman or you would love the opportunity to encourage someone but you’re not sure how to go about arranging it, please feel free to contact Marcia Neat.

Memorisation

We are encouraged to have the word hidden in our hearts so in 2022, we would like to give women opportunities to learn parts of the Bible. Each verse or passage will be shared on the website, at the women’s meeting and on the blog. This months verse is from 2 Corinthians 8: v9.  Please find a friend, a member of your family, or prayer partner to encourage you with this.
