Nathan Pomeroy | Pastor |
"I became the Pastor of Arnold Road Evangelical Church in 1999. I am thankful to God for bringing me here and for the love and encouragement of the Church. Prior to this I was an assistant to the pastor at Bethesda Baptist Church, Felixstowe. I’ve lived in several places; Cardiff, near Bath, London (Forest Gate and Finchley), and as a child grew up in Pakistan where my parents were missionaries.
I met Sharon at the Church and we were married in 2000. Sharon grew up in the local area and attended the Church as a child. She is very involved in many of the Church activities. She worked as a Primary School teacher for many years but took early retirement in 2022." |

Both are medically trained, David is a GP and Bethan is a hospital consultant. They also have three adult children. David is also an Elder and is now able to spend more time working for the Lord at Arnold Road after retiring in 2015. |
Eddie Neat | Elder |
Eddie started attending the church in 2000 after moving from Coventry with his wife Marcia and they became members.
Eddie served as a deacon for a number of years and became an elder in 2020. He is a father of four and works in manufacturing. As well as a love of the Word and a desire to follow God’s lead he is a keen guitarist and “fixer of things". |

Thomas Ngugi | Assistant Pastor |
Thomas joined Arnold Road Evangelical Church as Assistant Pastor in September 2023. He grew up in Kenya and moved to Finland in 2008 which is where he was saved while attending United Community Church and studying Social Services. Out of desire to grow in Biblical understanding, Thomas pursued a 3yr Theology and Church Ministry training programme at Agricola Theological Seminary, graduating in 2018.
He has a great passion to know, to love and to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, especially in the context of the local church. Thomas is married to Mercy, and they have a son, Jabali. They love taking long drives to discover new places. |
