Hi, my name is Huw Mitchell and I work in the local estates surrounding the Church, including Bestwood, Bestwood Park, Edwards Lane and Top Valley, speaking to everyone I meet about the Christian faith. You may have met me on my travels.
One of my jobs is taking a Christian newspaper to various people on the estates who I have had the pleasure to meet. I also run various courses to help people discover the Christian faith, one of those is Christianity Explored. It's a great course and we also have quite a lot of fun doing it. It's on the website so use the link above to take a look. I take responsibility for advertising special church events and services in the local community and also take a monthly service at a local residential home. There is also a faithful Arnold Road team who assist in all this work. |

Becoming a Christian in 1977, as a 16 year old living on the Edwards Lane Estate, altered my life. I was amazed by the love of God in sending his Son - the Lord Jesus Christ - to die for my sin.
Why should someone else pay the price for what I had done wrong? I was so changed by God that I wanted to share this good news, the Gospel, with others at every opportunity.
